Recipe
Ingredients Used:
- 1 cup whole white urad dhal
- 4 cups varagu (kodo millet) rice
- 1/2 cup poha
- 1 tsp fenugreek
Cooking Process:
- Soak the varagu and urad dhal after washing it well for about 4 hours along with fenugreek.
- Poha can be soaked just before grinding.
- Grind the varagu, dhal and poha with fenugreek adding water little by little.
- Allow the batter to ferment overnight
- Make the idlies in a mini idli plate
How to serve?
Coat the idli with gingelly oil and molaga podi.
